Skid mounted unit substations for mining or oil and gas

Electrical substation mounted on skid which steps down the voltage to large motors for mining or oil and gas applications among others.

The unit substation has three main components:
 Incoming panel up to 36 kV
 Transformer up to 20 MVA
 Outgoing panel (S) usually 2.4, 4.16, or 12 kV

The equipment is designed and coordinated mechanically and electrically.
